We receive and store your company/personal information to allow us to better serve your needs. When you open an account with Fastener Place you provide us with your full name, billing and shipping address, phone number, and email address. We keep this information on file so we can process your orders, keep you updated on your orders, and give you a more personalized shopping experience with us. We do not store any credit card information on file unless requested by the customer. All of our customer's information is stored in a secure server with encryption and firewall technology to ensure the highest level of safety and security. We do not sell your personal information to any third part nor do we purchase any personal information.
All price quotations are currently valid for five (5) business days unless otherwise stated on the quote you receive. Any price increase will be noted on the order confirmation you receive at the time of purchase. All items including freight are subject to price increases after the above noted time period.
A minimum billing fee will be applied to all orders being placed on an account with a net sales value that is less than $10.00 and a minimum billing fee will be applied to all orders being placed on a credit card with a net sales value that is less than $20.00. For purposes herein, "net sales" includes only the items purchased, this does not include sales tax, or shipping charges.
All accounts require prior credit approval before any orders can be processed. All order must be paid via cash, check, credit card, or wire transfer. Any purchaser with an acceptable account will be given the terms of 1% 10-days Net 30-days from the date of invoice for any purchase unless otherwise noted on your original invoice. We reserve the right to revise your account terms at any time if payments are not being made within the original terms your account was given. Any credit applied on your account must be used within one year of the original issue date and any credits unused within that one year period will be subject to cancellation unless otherwise agreed upon with Fastener Place. If any invoice is not paid within 90 days we reserve the right to charge your account an interest fee of 1.5% per month until the invoice is paid in full including any interest fee charges. We also reserve the right to defer other orders until we receive payment for the past due invoice.
Cancellation and Return Policy:
Any cancellations of orders must be completed prior to shipment. All specialty items may not be cancelled or returned after the order is placed. Please see our returns page for more information regarding our return policy.
All orders will be charged the applicable state and local sales tax unless the purchaser provides Fastener Place with a valid tax exemption form with the proper information completed before placing the order.
Unless otherwise stated when the order is placed any freight charge will be added to the final invoice. Any additional freight charges such as address corrections or special delivery fees will be the responsibility of the purchaser.
Certifications / Compliances
It is the buyer's responsibility to request any certifications and compliance forms they may need for the items they are purchasing. Any forms required must be requested at the time the order is placed, after the order has been processed and shipped we are no longer able to guarantee that any needed forms will be available. There is a 30-day grace period after the date of order that we can request the forms. After that period we are no longer able to retrieve any forms for items that were purchased.
